What is the garage sale?

A huge multi-church sale of our not needed stuff to benefit the inner city Impact church for their work with the homeless.

When is the garage sale – and when can I help?

The garage sale is Saturday and Sunday, March 13 and 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  We need LOTS of helpers in 2 hour + time shifts during the day on Saturday and Sunday.  To sign up, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. In addition, we need helpers on Tuesday afternoon – and on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. to sort and price merchandise.  Show up anytime within this time slot to work!  (Ladies, after some near mishaps in the past with young children and heavy and/or glass merchandise you might consider trading off babysitting with each other while you work shifts.)  Also, we need persons with trucks to volunteer to pick up larger items, especially on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Where is the garage sale?

Trader’s Village.  7979 North Eldridge Road, Houston, TX  77041  --  off 290 and West/Eldridge Road, or you may go to  www.tradersvillage.com for specific directions.  On Tuesday through Friday go past the parking lot toll booth to the entrance on your left into the structured area.  Follow it straight down to the RED roofed pavilion.  On Saturday and Sunday go through the parking lot toll booth, immediately turn left to the end of the Trader’s Village structure area, and then go right to head down to the RED roofed pavilion.

Where and when do I bring merchandise?

You may bring donated items to the Red Roofed Pavilion at Trader’s Village during the above mentioned hours on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  It’s actually best if all merchandise has arrived by noon on Friday so we have plenty of time to sort and price.  We still need LOTS of clothes hangers, large Rubbermaid bins, and sacks/bags.

When can I shop?

In fairness to everyone, no shopping, browsing, or saving will occur during set up hours.  Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, we’ve reserved early shopping for garage sale volunteers.  On Friday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Trader’s Village vendors are allowed to shop.  If you come out to shop before the vendor sale, please plan to stay and help!
