Restore Ministry

Restore is a small group ministry founded by the Green Hills YMCA in Nashville, Tennessee that provides hope and healing for men and women through self examination, individual study, group interaction and the grace and power of Jesus Christ. Specific programs offered through the ministry include the following:
Journey To Freedom
This is an eight-week Christ centered program which prepares you to take the first step toward making important changes in your life. Who should attend? Any adult who is in need of making a life change (big or small), and wants a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Power To Choose
This is a fourteen-week Christ centered twelve step program which provides you the hope, the power and the environment to identify, acknowledge and overcome life controlling issues. Who should attend? Adults who are struggling with anger, depression, relationship issues, compulsive behaviors and addictions, and desire a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Group sizes for both programs are limited to ten per session and all course materials are provided at no cost. Meetings are held at West Houston Church of Christ on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm.
Participant Testimonies
I have struggled with alcoholism most of my life and found that secular programs left me questioning and empty. The Restore programs not only addressed those issues, but brought me closer to Christ. It was a powerful experience.
For my entire adult life I’ve struggled with the fear of making needed changes in my life. Journey To Freedom provided me the tools and courage to change my life. I’d recommend this to any Christian wanting to make a positive change in their life.If you are interested in learning more about Restore, please contact George Gentry at 281-856-2324 ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
