We can all relate to so many things about Joseph’s life. He was loved and hated. He was chosen and rejected. He was favored and imprisoned. He was tested and rewarded. He was treated harshly and faced one difficult circumstance after another, and yet he never took his eyes off the Lord. His eyes were fixed firmly on God's plans and purposes for his life. He knew who he was and trusted that God’s sovereign will would prevail in him and through him.
