How it all started...
It all started in 1981...
A group of Christians met together for the first time and agreed there was a need for a church in this part of Harris County.
In 1982...
West Houston Church of Christ met for the first time as a body on January 9, 1982 at Bear Creek Elementary School.
In 1991...
Our first property was at West Road and Highway 6 and served the community for many years.
In June of 2005...
we moved to our current location. Our new building was funded by generous pledges by our members during our Building Up, Reaching Out Campaign. As of March 29, 2009, we were thrilled to say we are debt free!
