At West Houston we believe in the importance of working together to make disciples of the next generation. Our NextGen team are advocates for the faith development of children and students. Secondly, we are an advocate for the discipleship of the parents and adults who surround those children and students because they are in the greatest position to disciple them.

NIKKI LEE

LEAD CHILDREN'S MINISTER

Nikki has been at West Houston since 2024 and came on staff in June of 2025. Nikki ministers to all children through 4th grade.

JENNY BROOKS

CHILDREN'S MINISTER

Jenny's bio is coming soon. Jenny has volunteered in our children's ministry for many years. We are excited to welcome her to the staff.

HEATHER CORNELL

BRIDGE KIDS COORDINATOR

Heather and her family joined the West Houston family in 2020. With 20 years in elementary and special education, she loves building relationships and helping children grow. She is excited to serve Bridge Kids and help them grow in their relationship with God.

STEPHEN MINCHEW

STUDENT MINISTER

Stephen has been at West Houston since 2025. He brings over eight years of experience in ministering to youth. He works with our 5th-12th grade students.
